The Butterfly Effect

-theorizes that a change in something seemingly innocuous, such as a flap of a butterfly's wings, may have unexpected larger consequences in the future, such as the path a hurricane will travel.

Synopsis:
Evan Treborn (Ashton Kutcher), who suffered severe traumas as a boy (Logan Lerman) and a teenager (John Patrick Amedori), blacks out frequently, often at moments of high stress. While searching for an answer to heal his emotional wounds, he finds that when he reads from his adolescent journals, he travels back in time, and is able to essentially "redo" parts of his past, thereby causing the blackouts he experienced as a child. There are consequences to his choices, however, that he then propagates back to the present: his alternate futures vary from frat boy to prisoner to amputee. His efforts are driven by the desire to undo the most traumatic events of his childhood which coincide with his blackouts, including saving his childhood sweetheart Kayleigh (Amy Smart), from being abused by her father.

Ever since Monday, the day I watched this movie, I’ve been freaking addicted to it! As in swear. It is so AWESOME. It kills~ Ashton Kutcher is so fucking hot there! And so is Logan Lerman~ Ah…. –drools-

Some people say it’s brutal and morbid but seriously it’s not. It actually has a solid and wonderful storyline that I rarely appreciate in movies. It’s a romance kinda movie but more on psychological, horror type. The ending was bittersweet. I almost cried. I repeat almost.

So yesterday night because of my addiction to the said movie I of course researched about it and stuff and found out it had a sequel!!! –Squeals- So yeah, yesterday night. Butterfly Effect 1, 2 and 3 movie marathons! Yesterday was the first day in my life I ever slept at 12 midnight on a school day. So… ha-ha. BE2 wasn’t that good by the way but BE3 was totally awesome~

Also because of the said movie I’ve been addicted also to romance & horror movies. I can’t help it.

Romance movie + Horror movie = Awesomeness (^o^)

Am now currently downloading Let the right one in a Swedish/Scottish (I have no idea what) horror/romance film. (XD) Awesomeness. Utterly gruesome, morbid and horrific. Ah. The perfect movie for lil ‘ol me (:D)

I can’t wait till it finishes! (:D XD)

Freaks out,
Aki
